Probably the greatest conducting teacher who ever lived. A master in every respect. My great teacher and a true friend.
Ralph, I agree wholeheartedly, He was a great conductor and it was an honor to have worked with him and you. All the best,
Joseph Rabbai (Clarinet-Juilliard 1960-1964)
I was with him a lot during his final days. What a super individual he was. Morel’s ability to communicate with the musicians was extraordinary. Remembering how clean and beautiful his performances were, I miss that style.
